4.Upon completion of download:

Once the download is complete, you will have the option to run the CARAT installer. Do this now by selecting 'Run'.

5. Confirm APPROACH as a trusted software publisher.

If you have used the authorized, direct download link to attain your copy of CARAT, you can be certain you have a valid, secure CARAT installer. Click 'Run' to continue.

6. The CARAT Installer

When you run the CARAT Installer, you will be greeting by the Installer introduction screen. Click 'Next' to continue.

7. Follow the steps as guided by the Installer

The Installer will outline the few steps that are required to set-up your CARAT software. Click 'Next' to continue.

8. Select the installation location.

Choose a location for the Installer to place the CARAT program files. By default, the Installer will use 'C:\Program Files\APPROACH\Carat (Standard Trial) v 2.0\.

This screen also gives you the option to install the software for all users or just yourself, and also review the estimated disk usage using the 'Disk Cost' button.

Once you have made your selections, click 'Next'.

9. Review the installation progress.

While the Installer is working, you can review its progess. The installation process for CARAT is very brief, so you shouldn't have long to wait.

10. Review the information screen.

Near the end of the installation process, you will be shown the information screen. Review its contents, then click 'Next'.

11. The installation is complete.

That's all there is to it. Your installation of CARAT is now ready to go. Just click the 'Close' button, and we're ready to get started.

12. Use the CARAT desktop icon to start CARAT.

The Installer will place the CARAT icon on your desktop. Clicking this icon will start CARAT.

13. The CARAT demo introduction screen.

When you open a demo or unregistered version of CARAT, you will be greeted by the demo introduction screen. From this dialogue, you can see how many days remain in your trial period, order a registration code, and register your CARAT software. Best of all, you can try CARAT!

14. Registering your CARAT software.

Once you have tried CARAT, you'll surely want to register it. When you are ready, contact APPROACH to purchase the registration code, or use the 'Order' button on the previous screen.

Once you have been sent your registration code, enter the Unlock Code and your assigned user name in the appropriate fields and press 'OK'.

That's it!

15. Enjoy all that CARAT has to offer.

Once you have registered CARAT or chosen the 'Try' option, the CARAT workspace screen will open.
