APPROACH Reporting

With 10 years and 100,000 records entered, APPROACH data can monitor the trends of cardiac care in Alberta with exceptional detail. Regularly-issued reports on adjusted procedure rates, such as cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery are issued for the benefit of hospital adminstrators and health care planners.

APPROACH is currently strengthening its reporting arm, to be more responsive to the informational needs of these decision maker, with the hope that more regular and ad hoc reports will be issued in the coming decade.
